3-Core RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) Cables are designed to deliver accurate and stable temperature readings in precision-critical industrial environments. These cables are used for connecting RTD sensors—typically PT100 or PT1000—to measurement or control devices while minimizing signal loss and electrical interference.
Constructed with three identical conductors—usually high-purity copper—this cable configuration helps eliminate errors due to lead wire resistance. The conductors are insulated individually, often with PTFE, FEP, or silicone, and then twisted together to maintain signal integrity. An outer sheath, such as silicone rubber, PVC, or braided fiberglass, provides additional protection against harsh conditions.
3-Core RTD cables are widely used in process automation, power plants, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, HVAC systems, and lab testing setups, where precise temperature monitoring is essential. Available with shielding options like aluminum foil or braided copper, these cables offer excellent protection against EMI and RFI noise.
With a temperature rating up to 200°C or more depending on insulation, and voltage ratings up to 1.1 kV, these cables ensure high performance, flexibility, and long-term reliability.
