Mineral Insulated Heating Cables (MI Cables) are high-performance, series-type heating elements engineered for extreme industrial environments. These cables are constructed with one or two conductors embedded in high-purity magnesium oxide (MgO) insulation, then encased in a durable metal sheath for superior protection and performance.

Construction and Materials
The core design includes:

Conductors: One or two resistance wires

Insulation: Highly compacted magnesium oxide (MgO), providing excellent dielectric strength

Sheath:

Alloy 825 (high-nickel content) – ideal for high-temperature and corrosive environments; resists pitting, acid corrosion, and chloride stress

Stainless steel – suitable for less aggressive applications

The metal sheath is hermetically sealed to prevent moisture ingress, maintaining insulation integrity and ensuring long-term reliability.

Installation & Operation
Each MI heating cable set comes factory-terminated and ready to install. The set includes:

A fixed-length heating section
